Signage system for Movia
Denmark

The boards are designed for a Ø60 mm tube, based on the design language used by Movia's other urban inventory. Robustness, stability, quality and function form the basis for the timetable boards, where an easy-to-read and simple form is strived for.

The signs are made of extruded aluminum which, in addition to ensuring a robust grip on the pipe, has great visual and functional strength, designed to withstand the effects of the weather, blows and kicks. Rain and snow are directed down the extrusion of the profile and drip off at the base of the sign. All parts of the signs are powder coated in Movia's yellow color. The timetables are protected by a polycarbonate plate in A4.

Modular timetable boards

The timetable boards consist of five profile elements that together can solve four possible mounting variations: single sign on pipe, sign on two sides of pipe, multiple signs mounted vertically and wall mounting In the spring of 2014, Movia installed 4000 signs in the South Zealand area. During 2015-2016, signs were installed in the rest of Zealand.

To ensure quick and easy installation and replacement of the timetables, the boards have a clip profile that can be easily removed with special tools and then clipped back into place.
