Brackets for lighting system
Østerport, Denmark

Gottlieb Paludan Architects (GPA) in collaboration with SafeExit A/S has designed stainless steel fittings for Norka's cylinder valves. As the existing fittings for Norka's cylinder fittings did not meet GPA's high aesthetic and functional requirements, they chose to develop a new one.

The new luminaire bracket enables the ZUG and BERN luminaires from Norka to be combined in linear lighting solutions, creating a smooth transition between the luminaires. The luminaire bracket is available in two versions; an end bracket and a center bracket that connects the luminaires and hides the wiring between them.

Flexible and durable stainless steel luminaire bracket for public spaces

The luminaire bracket is crafted in glass-blasted stainless steel, which interacts beautifully with the matte surface of the luminaire. The material thickness is as thin as possible to follow the design language of the luminaire. The material is also maintenance-free and durable, making it resistant to vandalism and the like. The luminaire bracket is flexible as it can be mounted on both walls and ceilings. It is easy to dismantle as the base plate is fixed to the wall, while adjustment screws allow for small local adjustments. The architect-designed bracket is produced and distributed by Norka and is used in public spaces, such as stations, all over the world.
When the existing fittings for Norka's cylinder luminaires did not meet GPA's high aesthetic and functional requirements, they decided to develop a new one.
