Everyone should be able to move through our shared public spaces and buildings in a safe and dignified way. In complex environments such as stations, terminals, and other public transport hubs, universal design is not just a feature – it’s a fundamental design principle that ensures equal access and high functionality for all, regardless of physical or cognitive ability.

Light rail on Frederikssundsvej
Frederikssundsvej, Denmark
Gottlieb Paludan Architects has carried out a feasibility study for Metroselskabet in connection with a new light rail on Frederikssundsvej. The feasibility study includes input for alignments and bridges as well as visualizations of urban spaces.
Increased pressure on traffic creates a need for new traffic solutions. The City of Copenhagen wants a new metro from Refshaleøen to Brønshøj via the main line. This solution is expensive, so other alternatives are being sought. Gottlieb Paludan has carried out a feasibility study for a light rail between Nørrebro and Gladsaxe via Frederikssundvej.
