This report highlights our efforts to integrate sustainability into all aspects of our work and shares the progress we have made since our last report.
Selected highlights from the report:
- We have achieved ISO 14001 certification, an internationally recognised standard for environmental management. The certification marks an important step in our sustainability efforts. Read more about this certification on page 41 in the report.
- Our climate goals include halving emissions from our operations by 2030 (with 2023 as base year) and achieving net zero emissions by 2040. We are developing a 1.5°C roadmap for both operations and services, based on The 1.5°C Business Playbook, which aims to accelerate a sustainable transition.
- We have appointed two sustainability leaders for our building and landscape disciplines to develop and communicate a sustainability strategy and policy for our operations and solutions, and to monitor and document our carbon footprint. Read an interview with our newly appointed sustainability leaders on page 32 of the report.
- We have completed several projects focusing on sustainable design and construction. These include a biomass-fired CHP plant, a new data centre with a public park, innovative bicycle parking solutions for Copenhagen metro stations and a number of projects with wooden structures.
We are committed to incorporating systematic and measurable climate action into our vision, mission and strategies and to reducing the environmental impact of our activities and solutions.
At Gottlieb Paludan Architects, we understand the severity of the climate and biodiversity crises and we are dedicated to contributing to positive change.
